Admin Dental Receptionist Tampa Family Health Center

I have the responsibility of greeting and attending to patients on the phone and in person and to coordinate and organize appointments to facilitate the efficient running of the dental office. I also have the duty of greeting patients utilizing professionalism and quality customer service, registering new patients per protocol, assisting in form and documentation completion, as needed, schedule patient appointments as well as reschedule appointments, Obtain proof of insurance and verify, and ensure they are scanned into dental record. Answer and manage all incoming calls, confirm appointments and recalls, and maintain appointment records. I enjoyed working at this job, however, due to COVID-19, unfortunately everyone in the dental department was placed on furlough and dental was closed down.

Full-Time Sales Sales Representative All About Puppies

It is my job to act as the first method of contact for customers coming to purchase a puppy, as well as those who are just coming in the socialize with them. I aid in dog breed education and help each family find the most suitable breed that fits with their criteria, which boosts client retention. Besides sales, it is also my duty to groom every puppy at least twice a week. It is my responsibility to create all documents and paperwork whenever needed, for example, paperwork for guests to fill out when purchasing a puppy, cage signs, or supply order forms. When needed, I take puppies home that need to be closely monitored throughout the night. I keep a strong, close, positive relationship with our veterinarian in case of emergencies. My first week on the job, I sold a total of 10 puppies (5 per week is average). I learned everything very quickly and since I am good at conversating with people, it all came easy to me.

Education

Hillsborough Community College, Brandon, Florida

I am currently in school working towards my Associate in Science in radiology. My current GPA is a 3.76. I completed already multiple anatomy and physiology classes, medical terminology, and biology and chemistry classes. I have also taken computer classes and certified myself in Microsoft Office applications. It is easier for me to take my classes online so most are online courses. It allows me to have time to work a full-time job.

Communication

Over my three years of working a couple different jobs, all with completely different work environments, I have developed a strong work ethic. I like to do more than just clock in and clock out every day. I always do more than asked and often like to do things I know need to be done without being asked. I set high goals for myself and like to prove that I have the ability to work hard. I am a very organized person. I have to write everything down and make task lists sometimes. Working at different places with different atmospheres taught me quickly about having a positive attitude, specifically in a busy, stressful environment. Keeping a positive attitude leads to a more productive work day. Even when I make mistakes, I still move forward in a positive way. The main thing I have learned is to be dependable. I always follow through and commit to completing tasks on time. I am also a very fast learner, I pick up on things quickly. I just need to be shown once or twice and I will get it on my own going forward.

Leadership

I am a very team-oriented person. I have learned to make the most out of collaboration. I work well with others even if I have just met them or if we have different personalities. I understand the benefits of clarity, so I am an effective communicator. I have seen how badly things go wrong when a message is unclear or missed altogether.
