Work Description :

Coordinate closely with contractor on matters related to HSE procedure and implementation requirements as per Health, Safety and Environment Management System.

Consults and advice top management on all HSE risk control and enforcement.

Verify all the HSE activities and performance carried out by the contractor.

Maintains records on HSE related incidents (LTI, near miss, unsafe act, JSA, SOP etc), safety meetings and toolbox briefings, well verse in environmental manuals

To check all machineries and equipment safety at site.

Observance and enforcement of safe, healthy and environmental conscious working practice.

Maintain records of use of the approved procedures, rejection and corrective action.

Ensure safety standards and requirements are observed and highlight policy matters to the attentions of superiors.

Monitoring and appraise contractor’s HSE requirements and ensure that the works had been carried out correctly as required by contract and project specifications.

Deals with public and all related authorities on all safety and health related matters.

Constructs and manage continuous safety, health and environment culture at project site.

Handles presentation and enforcements of HSE related permit to works system.

Has experience dealing with varieties of constructions such as transmission lines, power plants, substations, high rise buildings, roads, bridges and beach and river rehabilitations.

Has experience dealing with requirements of varieties of clients such as TNB, Sarawak Hydro, Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia, Jabatan Kerja Raya, Putrajaya Holdings and private clients.

I am introduced to Occupational Safety and Health field in 2006. Since I got into Occupational Safety and Health field, I have attended various trainings such as HIRADC, working at height; confine space, chemical handling, basic scaffolding and many more trainings to upgrade my skills. I received my green book in year 2010. I have worked in many types of constructions such high rise buildings, transmission lines, power plants, sub stations, highways and dams and exposed to various kind of challenges. I have also taken care of environmental issues in few projects as well. I am a very positive person and always eager to learn and upgrade myself. I always look forward to balance between safety and progress in every job task that I handle. I consider myself as always learning new things every time I am in different tasks. . For your kind information, I was one of the winners of ‘Employee of the year’ award in MRCB in the year 2011 and with Pesona Metro, our team won the best safety compliance in Putrajaya projects in 2014.
