DENTALCORP 2017 – 2018

Canada’s largest corporate network of dental practices, with over 275 locations nationwide.

Manager, DC Institute

Recruited to lead the learning technology and operations functions for the educational arm (DC Institute) of this organization.

Designed and implemented an eCommerce solution resulting in automated customer and administrative processes, saving 40 hours of work effort per week

Established data synchronization between the organizational human resources information system (HRIS) and learning management system (LMS)

Designed DC Institute measurement and reporting, including corporate scorecard metrics and DCI financial/operational reports, and training compliance reports

Consulted on DC Institute (DCI) budget, including tracking, reporting, forecasting, and strategy

Derived costs and created cost models for DC Institute products

Joined the Loblaw HR Technology team in 2016, to develop and implement the Shoppers Drug Mart HR technology roadmap, informing a wider Loblaw HR technology plan.

Created and maintained a three-year HRIS roadmap for Shoppers Drug Mart retail stores, in concert with Loblaw IT planning, and the wider Loblaw HR Technology plan

Established processes, stakeholder support, and system readiness for the adoption of the HRIS by Shoppers Drug Mart for employee recruiting processes nationwide

Implemented administrative processes for the maintenance of Shoppers Drug Mart stores, and employees ongoing in the HRIS

Manager, Learning and Talent Development (Learning Technology) 2013 – 2016

Managed the Human Resources Learning Technology team in learning solutions consulting, implementation, adoption and operations. This group became part of a wider Loblaw HR Learning and Development team in 2014.

Drafted a 3-year learning technology roadmap for Loblaws and Shoppers Drug Mart, to support and align with business objectives

Oversaw the successful launch of a new corporate LMS to 60,000 Shoppers Drug Mart staff nationwide – exceeded target adoption rates for 2014 and 2015; end user support inquiries reduced from 20% to 10% compared to user logins within 2014; favourable end user “ease of use” rating over 80%

Assumed a newly created position at this Government of Ontario Corporation to manage daily operations of the corporate learning management system (LMS) and Web conferencing platform, and to develop processes, tools and standards for eLearning development in the organization.

ADVOCIS / THE FINANCIAL ADVISORS ASSOCIATION OF CANADA 2009 – 2010

eLearning Manager

Joined this national financial services association organization to implement and manage a Learning Management System (LMS) and dependent processes, and to develop eLearning courses. Transitioned the organization from 4 eLearning platforms to a single LMS.

ROGERS COMMUNICATIONS 2002 – 2009

Originally recruited to develop sales training eLearning courses. Quickly entrusted with expanded accountabilities for system design, development and analysis. Promoted to oversee the complete Learning Management System (LMS) Program for the National Sales Training group. Focused in 2008 on emerging technology projects, assessing cutting edge technologies for learning and communications application.

Learning Technology Program Manager 2003 – 2009

Championed the departmental LMS to departments across the Rogers group of companies, building successful new internal partnerships. Key contributor to an 1800% growth in users since 2002 (2,000 users to 36,000 users).

Led the selection and procurement of a $1 million LMS software and services purchase

Project managed the implementation of a new LMS (2007), successfully transitioning 25,000 users across 4 corporate divisions and over 200 partner companies to the new system
