M.PHARM:

Title of thesis:

A Prevalence study of Multi Drug resistant Tuberculosis among HIV individuals attending Anti Retroviral Therapy Centre GMKMCH, Salem by BACTEC Culture Method

Scientific utility:

To assess the prevalence of multi drug resistant tuberculosis in HIV Co-infected TB individuals and to prevent the risk of subsequent development of disease by early diagnosis using rapid sensitivity tests.

Conclusion of research work:

It was concluded that the MDR-TB is less prevalent in HIV individuals and the Diagnosis of TB depends on the isolation and identification of Mycobacteria and the control of MDR tuberculosis depends on rapid drug sensitivity tests using BACTEC system which helps to improve patient survival rate.

B.PHARM:

A review on recent development of anti cancer drugs in drug delivery systems.
