Project Description

This is a major project dealing with BARD’s four U.S. divisions that support their broad product offerings. Each division enhances their product offering with comprehensive clinical, educational, and operational programs to help their Customers address the specific challenges of their institution. Bard Canada and Bard International sell all Bard Products.

C.R. Bard application support project covers AS400, Model N and Cognos Matrix applications. Bard uses AS400 applications for contract management, sales tracing, rebates and commission. Model N tool is being used for JDE sales order price inquiry. Cognos cubes and reports are used for commission processing and sales reporting.

Roles & responsibilities

Work with business users on requirement gathering for Model N and prepare High Level Design Document for enhancements. Providing On-Call and Production- call support. Ensuring that resolving the tickets at right method and within deadlines without any SLA violation. To maintain I5 applications which includes Commissions, Month End processing, Job failures and Batches in Error, Technical support, Ad hoc report requests on I5 and Model N, Cognos cubes, Configuration changes to Model N. Grooming up the new resources coming to the team.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Policy/J Application is the core of Zurich Japan insurance as it is mainly dealing with policy administration and other functionalities like Billing, reinsurance, Claim maintenance. It is interacted with Java based applications and acts as policy repository for some applications. Activities such as production support, Maintenance and data fix forms the scope of this project. Production support involves the activities such as responding the Help desk tickets and Data maintenance tasks.

Roles & responsibilities

As a project member, primarily involved in activities such as interacting with the onsite for transitions. Resolving Tickets in reverse Shadow phase by providing solution document which is the Key that drives to Steady state of the project. As it is Japan project, bridged between Language Experts and Technical team for document translation for the Data maintenance tasks.

Project Description

PIC WC BILLING system provides billing services for LNW Workers Compensation policies. The system keeps track of what LNW has billed, what has been paid & what is still owed. The Premium in course of collection system tracks LNW invoicing to policyholders primarily through payroll reports and stipulated billings. Policies are processed at policy level & reports pertaining to the policies are sent at entity level. It uses AS400 platform for processing the policies.

Roles & responsibilities

Leading a team of 3 members. Involved in analysis, design and preparation of design documents of the different modules and implemented the code changes. Provided Support activities in highly secured production environment, which uses production databases and servers during production releases. Used various tools. Worked on Various QCs, which emerged as part of Production Defects of the Developed Module. Worked in synch with Java Team as they handle the Front End.

Project Description

As the contract with the external PBM is due to expire, an enterprise-wide project has been established to migrate all commercial business to OptumRx. Project Fresh Start will consolidate the delivery of comprehensive PBM services to provide the highest levels of service to employer groups, providers and members.

As part of Fresh Start, UHG is migrates some Administrative Services Only (ASO) customer groups. These groups require the calculation and reporting of Spread Data. This data defines the difference between the amounts received from Pharmacy Pricing and the amounts billed to the customer. The difference calculated represents credit to the customer. OptumRx has a contractual responsibility to provide this Spread Data to UHCP for inclusion in their financial processes.

Roles & responsibilities

Business requirement document Analysis from the client and preparing the detailed design document for that. Preparation of and review of the High level Technical Design. Coding and Unit Testing; Code Reviews. Prepare unit test case document. Maintained all project related documents in Cognizant and Client share folders. Ensured project quality metrics to be with-in allowable limits. Participated in Peer review during all phases of project.
