Managed Housing & Services portfolio of affordable housing properties and supervised a maintenance and custodial staff of 50. Responsible for all building inspections, the cure and removal of all building violations, and ensured that all buildings were in compliance with NYC regulations. Managed all third-party vendor and city official relationships for the company. Developed and implemented a Preventive Maintenance Program to ensure compliance and consistent execution by facility management staff. Formulated purchasing policy and procedures for the hiring of third-party vendors and inventory controls for the purchasing/storage of replacement parts, maintenance tools and equipment, and building materials and supplies for renovations and repairs. Provided “hands on” management and supervision of all building repairs (carpentry, masonry, plastering, painting, installation of electrical equipment, and plumbing repairs).
