Turkish Airlines (THY) inaugurated its first International services with the opening of the Ankara – Istanbul - Athens services in 1947.The Turkish government reorganized the airline in 1956 under the name Türk Hava Yollari A.O. (THY). It was capitalized at TRL 60 million. British Overseas Airways Corporation (BOAC) began supplying technical support after acquiring a 6 percent shareholding, which it held for about 20 years.

By the mid-1980s, THY had a fleet of 30 aircraft. It was flying about three million passengers a year to 16 domestic destinations and three dozen international ones. Interfaces:

• Worked on BTEs (Business Transaction Events) to post the Purchasing document using BTE 00001030 and for reset and reverse the document using BTE 00001040 and transfers this Information to other system (TRAX) through proxy class using transaction SPROXY.

• Worked on proxy classes for implementing a scenario for reading the Vendor master information coming from third party system (TRAX) and updated to custom table in SAP using Asynchronous SPROXY proxy call and once it updates sends a mail to user outlook those are in shared distribution Lists using class ZCL_COM_APPL_LOG_OO_UTILITIES and by using method send_mailbydist .
