Projects

Optimization of a Wind Turbine-Team project researching applications of physics on wind turbines and applying physics to make modifications to the structure. Presented the findings and collected data to a panel of experts in a formal presentation.

Optimization of a Variable Speed Drive- Responsible for deciding what parts to order, properly assembling, and testing a fully functional Variable Speed Drive to be used on industrial fans.

Optimization of a Motor Harness- Responsible for designing and building 150 fully functioning motor harnesses that would be attached to each fan’s motor.

Internship

XCelaero, Colonie New York Assistant Engineer/Intern (June-August 2019)

Assembled, tested and ran a Variable Speed Drive used on an industrial fan.

Ordered parts, assembled and tested 150 motor harnesses from scratch.

Learned how to design and cut parts with laser cutting software provided.

Assisted and shadowed chief engineers with whatever task was done on the day.

Leadership and Activities

UB Robotics (2018)

Member of the VTOL (Vertical Take Off and Landing) group that designed and manufactured drones with low budget resources.

Lead Counselor at the YMCA (June 2017-August 2018)

Was a leader and guide for children under the age of 10, responsible for making enjoyable yet productive activities for the group.

Leading the rest of the counselors and making sure everyone was on task, while offering help when needed.

University at Buffalo Club Soccer Team (August 2016-Now)

Secretary and member of the E-Board, responsible for assigning the club volunteer opportunities and student association participation, so that the club represents the University at Buffalo in the best light possible.

Part of a team who went to regionals 3/4 times while present while being a leader both off the field and on it.

Extracurricular Passions

Passion for talking about sports and creating media content around it. Run a sports podcast and YouTube channel where I create, edit, and put out content related to the week’s incidents out to an audience.
