3.WORKING EXPERIENCE.

March 1st 2019 – February 28th 2020, Sales and Operations Manager to DMM Tanzania, a Japanese company based in Tokyo, Japan.

My achievements:

Managed to form a self-running sales team for the company in selected regions within a short period of time.

Established a sales system that made our sales always go beyond the company target.

Managed to create a feedback system which aimed at collecting information from our customers.

September 2018 to-date, Operations Manager at Matula Investment Company.

April 2018- August 2018 (Internship at DMM group, Tokyo Japan).

My key responsibilities:

Developing business ideas/proposals that can attract potential investor to partner and/or acquire such business ideas.

Making market survey on products from Tanzania that can be exported to Japan as well as the other way round.

My achievements:

Managed to establish international business networks with a good number of companies.

After returning to Tanzania I got hired by the same company, assigned managerial-levl tasks.

Researcher on agricultural sector improvement, (particularly sugar industry) in Tanzania. (Research design, visitation to the companies, survey including questionnaire and interviews with employees, data analysis and report writing)

Summer internship (summer-2016) at Distribution Economics Institute of Japan (DEIJ), Japan as a consultant.

My key responsibilities were to;

Research and collect information regarding potential areas in Sub-Saharan countries that may be a good target for future investment in agriculture.

My achievement:

Managed to collect and avail good information to potential clients enough to attract them and decide to come to Africa and invest in agricultural projects.

My achievements:

Supervise all stages of oil disembarking, refining, packaging, storage and distribution procedures of edible oils.

Study the outbreak of food-borne illness, track the origin and spread of the illness to help prevent future outbreaks.

Offer time-to-time training to other employees involved in processing and packaging of the product on the possibility of food contamination and what should be done to prevent that from happening.

Ensure proper refining, packaging and storage of edible oil.

Submission of samples to the Tanzania Food and Drugs Authority (TFDA) as well as to the Tanzania Bureau of Standards (TBS) for laboratory tests and to make a follow up on the laboratory results of such samples.

Supervise offloading of agricultural products, quality checking and making payment to the farmers/other suppliers.

Supervising grading, re-bagging and loading of the consignment and ensure its proper storage.

Did a presentation of my research findings in the 13th International Conference of ASIAN Inter-University Knowledge Community in Japan.

Attended an Afla-safe workshop organized by the United States Department of Agriculture which aimed at adoption and development of new Afla-safe technology to mitigate the effects of aflatoxins in Tanzania and the neighboring countries in the region.
