Enhancing the concept of a Smart University Using an IoT Approach (Middlesex University Mauritius) April 2019

• User research was conducted to get different university problems that could be technologically solved.

• Researched different approaches to achieving a smart university.

• Researched methods in implementing IoT in universities.

• carried out an Interview to know more about the problems faced within the universities involving technology sensors and a Survey was done in a form of a Questionnaire to gather requirements about technological tools for the enhancing of a smart university.

• Analysis conducted from results gotten from the survey and suggesting a new technological tool which can be implemented.

Remote Installations of 100 new systems (Bosch Accra Ghana) June 2018 organization sent me on this trip to start-up this project of which this task concentrated on the following:

• installation was initiated via the local network, process takes at least 4 hours

• serial number / asset number were initiated before installation could take place

• Files were copied to the computers from the remote server with a flash, after a successful installation. An encryption of the hard drive was activated (Bit locker) all personal files and documents of the associates was retrieved via Z drive.

Installation of server 2012 on live systems (Dolex Nigeria limited) February 2017 as the project coordinator I performed the installation of this software on the designated systems by:

• making sure their systems Processor was at least 1.4 GHz 64-bit processor, Ram size 2GB Disk Space 32GB. Then all major boot steps up was followed successfully.
