FXS is a file exchange server maintained by the HP, San Diego, USA. The FXS tool is a C# tool which facilitates the automatic upload/download of the releases to/from the FXS server.

Developed the UI using WPF & XAML.

Implemented the upload and download functionalities using C#. The tool also facilitates md5 creation which is used to check the integrity of the file uploaded.

Karnak is a printer instantiation project to automate the building and releasing of installers (web packs and ISO images) for HP products like printers and scanners. The project is responsible for instantiation of products, building the products, creating release packages and deploying it to Nexus and FXS servers. The client was initially HP, San Diego, USA and now moved to HP, Bangalore.

Responsibilities

Created Jenkins jobs for building and releasing various devices in the different Karnak programs. The web packs and ISO images hence release is tested in different OS to verify that the product is properly installed.

Created batch, PowerShell and python scripts for automating the release process. Also implemented the MSBuild projects to create the final release in the correct folder structure format.
