Working as a Senior Document Controller/Design Deliverable Coordinator in Design Management/Technical Office

Duties and Responsibilities

Coordination with Construction Management Office and Designers/sub-contractors. Performing a comprehensive quality check on each document and associated documents, in accordance with the project defined documents protocols.

Support the project control department and Close Out teams, provide answer to documentation related queries and provide summary status reports

Compiling weekly and monthly project reports in coordination with different engineers.

Excellent document organizational skills, Preparing letters and documents by MS Word and Managing the inter office correspondence through MS Outlook Express

Supervising the documentation teams daily activities and follow up the outstanding issues, ensuring the efficient delivery of project requirements

Duties and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Design Manager and Director. Management of multiple and changing priorities in a high volume environment.

Key Coordinator with different sub-consultants and sub-contractors for the submissions and provide meticulous quality checks prior submission to the client. Performing periodic quality checks to the system registers.

My daily responsibilities include but not limited to receiving, cataloguing and distribution of all project-related correspondence, design submissions, and design review/compliance tracking. Principally responsible for the proper formatting and distribution of letters/submissions and verifying the suitability of design submissions for document control processing

Effectively receive the submissions from Designer and prepare submissions using EDMS (PCM – Primavera Contract Management).

Prepare and Maintain the Submission log and Responsible for Control/Track/Issue of complete project documentation such as incoming and outgoing correspondence, RFI’s.

Managing day to day administration of the system and liaising with the EDMS to resolve problems. Coordinate with the client and/or designer’s offices and resolve any issues related to the submissions.

Duties and Responsibilities

Maintain all project documents in line with the company quality system with complete control and tracking.

Solely managed and supervised the document control department. Ensuring the team’s adherence to the processes and procedures and providing guidance when a deviation occurs.

Co-ordination with clients, Project Managers, contractors and other Internal Departments for Documentation related issues.

Control all Incoming and Outgoing Drawings/Documents. Ensure prompt issuance and distribution of all the Drawings/Documents to all parties as detailed in the distribution matrix contained in project procedures.

Produce reports as required by management and other parties from time to time. Ensure all project documents/drawings and correspondences are available in paper version and electronic version.
