UNIVERSITY EDUCATION:

I received a B.Sc. in Geology in May of 1988 and a B.Ed. (High School) in May of 1989 having completed both degrees at Memorial University of Newfoundland.

GEOLOGICAL WORK EXPERIENCE:

1.From January 2014 to present I have been working for Anaconda Mining Inc. as a Senior Geologist at its open pit operation in Baie Verte, Newfoundland and from September 2018 to February 2019 with the Senior Geologist with the bulk sample team at Goldboro, Nova Scotia.

My duties at the Underground Goldboro Bulk Sample project in Nova Scotia included:

a.Organizing and setting up the grade control program and safety procedures.

b.Ore modeling Meguma style mineralization in Surpac.

c.Instituting standardization in quality controls for 43-101.

My duties at the Open Pit Baie Verte project in Newfoundland include:

a.Creating dig limits for ore blasts.

b.Analyzing blast movement. (BMT)

c.Supervisor of Grade Control.

d.Ore Modelling in Surpac.

e.Monthly reconciliation reports.

f.Monitoring mucking operations.

g.Training Junior Geologist in Production Mapping

h.Implementing digitizing program for pit mapping and sampling.

2.From July 2012 to December 2013 I worked for Brigus Gold at the Black Fox Mine (now owned by McEwan Mining) as a Senior Production Geologist at its underground operation in Matheson, Ontario.

My duties included:

a.Supervising and mentoring the production team, which include three geologists and two production support personnel.

b.Organizing and setting up the grade control and safety procedures for the production team.

c.Negotiating process changes with Engineering, Survey and Mining Departments to improve production and grade control.

d.Interviewing new candidates and engaging and evaluating current team members.

e.Instituting standardization in quality controls.

f.Ore Modelling in A-Mine.

g.Filling in for the Chief Geologist when necessary.

h.Daily measuring/reporting and monthly reporting tonnages and grades mined.

i.Assisting Chief Geologist with monthly mine and stockpile reconciliations.

j.Work with mine engineers to ensure production targets are met.

k.Maintain grade calculations in all active headings to advise in production decisions.

l.Producing diamond drill plans and communicate drill schedule with the mine department.

3.From November 2004 to July 2012 (FIFO 14 days&14 days) I worked for Goldcorp Inc. as a Beat Geologist/Production Geologist at its underground operations in Red Lake, Ontario.

My duties included:

a.Interpreting geological information, ground conditions, dikes, slips and other geological information for the production personnel

b.Ensure that all production blast faces are properly marked outlining the ore contact

c.Map all blast faces, floors and backs.

d.Blast tracking, blast pickup and overall production grade control

e.Collect chip, muck, grab samples and issue and collect test holes

f.Planning and marking up individual ore blasts to ensure minimum dilution

g.Supervising an underground geological team

h.Review diamond drill and production drill data to modify or confirm the ore outline

i.Producing ore outlines and drill layouts using, Datamine, Gemcom and MineCAD programs.

4.From June to July and from August to October 2004 I worked for Golden Tag Resources as a Mineral Technician on its Aquilon gold project in Northern Quebec.

My duties included:

a.Assisting in drill program (processing drill core, spotting holes, supervising drill progress, etc.)

b.Assisting in trenching program (channel sampling, supervising backhoe, etc.)

c.Prospecting.

5.From April 1998 to August 2002 I staked claims through my own company Once-A-Rock Inc. through which I actively explored in Newfoundland and Labrador.

My duties included:

a.Prospect generation

b.Claim-staking

c.Prospecting claims

d.Property assessment reports

e.Negotiating an option agreement

f.Budgets, tax calculations and all other paperwork related to running a small business

g.My exploration work has uncovered some gold that lead to an option agreement with a BC Junior.

6.From April 1998 to January 1999 I worked for Veritas DGC Land (now CGG) as a Quality Control Assistant on various seismic projects throughout Argentina.

My duties included:

a.Verifying the quality of all data being gathered during the seismic operation before being sent for preliminary 3-D processing

b.Processing daily seismic production

c.Creating all daily, weekly and monthly reports and production maps

d.Assisting in the authoring of project report

e.Up-hole data interpretation and reports

7.From June to August 1997 I worked as a Party Chief and supervised prospecting projects in the Sops Arm, Corner Brook and the Northern Peninsula areas of Newfoundland for Geological Prospectors Inc. of Corner Brook.

My duties included:

a.Supervising a crew of eight licensed prospectors

b.Delegating daily assignments for the crew

c.Supervising the mobilisation and demobilisation of the camps

d.Prospect generation

8.From August 1996 to June 1997 I was an Instructor in Geological Engineering Technology at Academy Canada in Corner Brook, Newfoundland.

My duties included:

a.Instructing primarily in the Geological Engineering Technology program and secondarily in the Computerised Drafting Technology Program

b.Co-ordinating the ordering of resources necessary for program start-up at two campuses

c.Curriculum development and reorganising for two campuses

9.From June 1996 to July 1996 I supervised a mapping and prospecting project in Northern Labrador as a contract geologist for Vulcan Minerals Inc. on their various Ni-Cu-Co properties.

My duties included:

a.Co-ordinating and supervising all aspects of the project from initial set-up to final demobilisation.

b.Supervising the prospecting portion of the project.

c.Mapping and Prospecting

d.Authoring the Assessment Report for each claim block

10.From May to September of 1989 I worked with Sirius Energy Corporation Ltd. and BRE-SEA Minerals Ltd., both of Calgary, on their respective Banded Iron Formation hosted gold properties in the Contwoyto Lake/Back River area of the Nunavut as a senior geologist.

My duties included:

a.Regional mapping and prospecting in preparation for diamond drilling

b.Reconnaissance mapping and prospecting

c.Co-authoring a final report on the BRE-SEA Minerals property for use on the Alberta Stock Exchange.

11.From May to September of 1988 I worked with Rio Algom Exploration Ltd. (now part of BHP Billiton) throughout New Brunswick and Newfoundland on epithermal gold and massive sulphide properties respectively as a senior geologist.

My duties included:

a.Supervising mapping, till, soil and stream sediment programs in N.B and Newfoundland

b.Supervising a diamond drill program in Newfoundland

c.mapping and prospecting in both provinces

12.From May to December 1987 and May to September 1986 I worked for BP Mining Ltd. throughout Newfoundland on various gold and massive sulphide properties as a junior student geologist and senior field geologist respectively.

My duties included:

a.Diamond drill supervision

b.Supervising a trenching, soil sampling and mapping program

c.Mapping and prospecting

d.Geophysical surveying (Pulse EM and VLF-EM)

e.Collecting soil and stream sediments

13.During the summers of 1985 and 1984 I worked with the Geological Survey of Canada; in 1985 as a junior geological field assistant in the Bathurst Inlet area of the Nunavut mapping the sediments in the Kilahegok Basin of the Wopmay Orogeny and during 1984 as a lab assistant in Ottawa.

1.From February 2003 to 2004 I taught English as a Second Language part-time at Academie Linguistique Champlain Inc. as well as Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México in Hull Quebec.
