Accomplishments

-From 04/2004—08/2006, while I worked for the Nursing Education and Research Department, I participated in designing, implementing, and translating from English to Arabic and vice versa a curriculum for the patient care assistant (PCA) position. The curriculum aimed to ensure that new and current PCA’s develop the knowledge and skills necessary to fulfill their job requirements.

-From 01/2006—01/2008, I led a project for the legal affairs department at King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre. The primary aim was to organize the administrative and legal work of the department. The project consisted of three stages. In stage I, I created a database that included sections for cases, court judgments, legal opinions, government general distributions and regulations, ethical and religious distributions, files and contracts. Stage II included sorting all the aforementioned documents, classifying them according to the classification system recognized by the hospital, scanning those documents and inserting their data into the database. Stage III, included monitoring and controlling, including implementing the system, executing the project, and teaching the department staff how to use the system effectively. I received a “thank you” letter from the Chief Executive Director of the hospital for my contribution to the department.
