SECURITY AGENT (DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES)

Prevent unauthorized people and vehicle from accessing the aircraft and its environment.

Prevent unauthorized and unsterilized items from being loaded or carried in the aircraft holds and cabin.

Conduct pre/post flight cabin checks and file copies of the same for reference to ensure detection of suspicious items.

Conduct search on staff to ensure security of passenger baggage, courier, mail, cargo and in-flight materials before and after handling.

Safely handle and secure lost and found property until reunion with rightful owners to enhance customer confidence.

Monitor and scrutinize movements of company property into and out of operational areas to detect and prevent theft.

Ensure that 3rd Party security staffs are alert and perform their duties as per KQ requirements.

Secure and account for exhibits obtained from apprehended suspects.

Report all security incidents or information of security nature to the Security Team Leader, his superiors and/or relevant Law Enforcement Officers for necessary action.

Report and Respond to safety emergency incidents promptly to ensure minimum casualties.

Adhere to safety requirements and report all safety incidents in operations to ensure safer working environment.

Assist in Escorting aircrafts and passengers as may be dictated by the business requirement to ensure safety and security of aircraft, crew and passenger & their baggage.

INVESTIGATIONS AGENT (DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES)

Carry out effective investigation of all security irregularities throughout the business to safe guard against negative impact of security lapses on the business

Conduct internal investigation in all suspected criminal activities e.g theft, losses and damage claims, INADS, ticket frauds, excess weight cheating, misuse of company property etc. and advice on corrective measures to maintain revenue integrity in accordance with staff rules and procedures/laws of Kenya

Effectively contribute and participate in comprehensive, professional and timely security investigation reports to facilitate prompt corrective actions and preventive actions as necessary

Prepare/Brief witnesses for provision of evidence in the courts and/or HR panels

Represent the company in courts as and when required

Conduct general and forensic investigations processes in conformity to regulatory requirements and within specified time frame to ensure logical conclusion and the company is protected against law suits

Interrogation of witnesses/suspects and visiting scene of accidents and incidents

Analyzing evidence for proactive security decision

Collecting, safeguarding and producing exhibits before HR panels and/or retrieving from law enforcement agencies.

Develop, manage and regularly update database of all detected, reported cases and successful interventions network-wide for discussion with Security Manager Investigations and Forensics/Director- Safety, Security and Quality to ensure availability of case studies for quick reference and determination of update of the processes and procedures.

Assist in preparation and effective implementation of investigations budget to ensure wastage is continuously eliminated in line with focused improvement best practice

Liaise with other internal and external stake holder and general crime prevention agencies and create conduce environment to ensure that necessary information and assistance is received to avert any risks directed to Kenya Airways operations network-wide

28th Feb -1st March 2015 –won bronze medal during 3rd edition of prof Ipara Odeo International cup open taekwondo championship held at Kibabii University College.

16th May 2015-Won bronze medal during Nyanza open taekwondo championship held at Kosovo hall Kisumu county.

22nd April 2017-Won gold medal in the 2nd Antoren Investments taekwondo open championship held at KPA Makande hall Mombasa.

July 1st 2017-Won gold medal during Meru open champioships

July 20th 2017-Won silver medal during Nanyuki taekwondo open championships.

10th Dec 2017-Won silver medal during Kilifi county international taekwondo championships.

2017 Kenya discipline forces taekwondo league-Overall gold medalist welter weight.
