Description: The project involved protection of electrical power systems from faults through the isolation of faulted parts and rest of the electrical network. It also involved implementation of software called SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition). It generally refers to an industrial control system: a computer system monitoring and controlling a process. The process can be industrial, infrastructure or facility based. They monitor and control HVAC, access and energy consumption. The objective of the protection scheme was to keep the power system stable by isolating only those components which are under fault and whilst leaving as much of the network as possible still in operation.

Description: The project involved development of Gravitational Seat (G-Seat) for providing kinaesthetic (sensation of motion) cues to a pilot of a simulated aircraft. G-Seat was used in aircraft simulator, which is a system that tries to copy or simulate the experience of flying an aircraft. The project involved simulation of three degrees of freedom experienced by the pilot like acceleration, deceleration as well as sideways movement of aircraft. The G-Seat consists of a computer system which was used to give simulated signals to experience three degrees of freedom of the aircraft. It also consisted of digital signal processor, motors and motor driver card which used to take the commands from the computer system and produced a simulation environment to the pilot.
