Based in Muscat, Oman, I am fully responsible for maintaining all mechanical equipment for all company owned drilling rigs, compressor stations, storage facilities, pump facilities, pipeline integrity, inspection equipment, and support equipment and ensuring security for all personnel both in country and elsewhere within the region, travel, job site locations, and facilities. Ensuring that all equipment, (i.e.: pumps, valves, controls, Mud Pumps, Drawworks, Top Drives, Rotary Tables, BOP’s, wellheads, pressure control equipment, etc.) are properly inspected, serviced, repaired and maintained with needed PM’s, as well as developing maintenance plans and policies. Overseeing all Chief Mechanics, Mechanics and Jr. Mechanics and ensuring that they remain knowledgeable through additional training, and adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations. Providing operator training and the installation, commissioning, maintenance, service & repair, and refurbishment of all OEM drilling rigs & equipment manufactured by LeTourneau, i.e.: electric turbines, VFD’s, drilling rigs & equipment, support equipment, pipe handling equipment, etc. This also includes working within the construction, fabrication and manufacturing groups doing build-ups, testing & calibration, and field service quality checks on new equipment prior to shipment to the rigs on new rig construction. 1984 – 1998 Worked within the Semiconductor Industry.

I started working as a Field Service Engineer, with the installation, commissioning, start-up, maintenance, service & repair, and PM’s of high tech semiconductor equipment. In the span of working 16 years within this industry, I successfully had a steady career growth, moving up from a Field Service position, to eventually become a Sr. Group Product Equipment Manager. I had a strong and stable work history within this industry. My last position within this industry was as a Global Product Marketing Manager. Due to a long downturn within the semiconductor industry, I then chose to switch over to the industry of Oil & Gas industry.
