Combined work efforts as both a Predictive Analytics Subject Matter Expert and as an Aerospace & Defense SME for the Internet of Things (IoT) and Digital Operations within the IBM Global Centre of Competence (CoC).

Directed all activities and aspects of the Content Management solution design to deliver IT components and document business requirements for a major North American airline. Hosted workshops, facilitated communication between the IT component and the Technical Operations department, and met requirements across Document Management, Transfer section, Fleet Section, Assembly section, and Regulatory section.

Assessed the capabilities of a newly launched SAP PEO solution to replace a defense contractor’s proprietary system and facilitate management of Production Work and Planning. Documented business processes, created business use cases, established KPIs, and facilitated compliance of the solution vendor.

Partnered with the University of South Carolina team to develop resources necessary to enable IBM GBS and deliver Visual Insights solutions with the subsequent inclusion of Acoustic Insights and Predictive Quality Insights.

Advised a Franco Dutch airline in engineering and maintenance services. Implemented a single consolidated SAP MRO solution across Air Frame, Engines, and Components divisions. Designated team leader for the Spare Parts Optimization project to define, document and validate business requirements. Acted as an A&D MRO SME for the Business Benefits project, and the Maintenance Operations Integration team on the SAP MRO project and drafting of the solution PDDs.

Partnered with a Canadian aerospace manufacturer to define Business Value Assessment (BVA) for the Business Aircraft Division and identify, document and quantify improvement opportunities at global Production facilities.

Supported team efforts to advise a Canadian aerospace manufacturer in the provision of Aircraft Maintenance (MRO) and Predictive Analytics and Optimization (PAO) solutions for the client

Worked as the Global Process Owner for After Market and Asset Management sections on a proposal to a Canadian recreational products manufacturer. Delivered a solution to embrace the Dealer Network and provided an Asset Management Maintenance solution for manufacturing equipment.

Completed the proposal sections for NATO associated with Planning and Execution of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance work of a new fleet of aerial equipment, the provision of the associated materials, tooling and labor, the long term development planning for the maintenance facilities and for the operational maintenance of the units whilst on operational duty in the field.

Designed and documented several solution Proof of Concept (POC) scenarios for a major North American telecommunications service provider in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. Showcased the IBM solution suite of products.

Assessed the existing Maximo for Aviation solution, and supported development of additional features to expand services. Defined the necessary updates and requirements, created a systems based demonstration, and delivered the presentation in Dallas, Texas. Recommended modules to facilitate a week-long workshop in Toulouse, France.

Senior Managing Consultant / IBM Canada – GBS, Ottawa, Ontario, Sept 2011 – June 2015

Prepared a proposal to implement IBM’s SAP Express solution for Aerospace & Defence for a major Israeli defence contractor and the aftermarket business divisions worldwide.

Updated the content of the existing Process Capability Framework (PCF) for the American Productivity & Quality Centre on behalf of IBM. Added content for new solutions and expanded the PCF scope from Airline to embrace specialist MRO’s, OEM MRO’s, Business Aircraft MRO’s, Military and Rotary Wing Aircraft (Helicopters).

Completed the business design, solution integration, program rate changes (firing orders), testing strategy, roll out / deployment strategy for the implementation of SAP ECC 6.0 using IBM’s SAP for Aerospace and Defence accelerator for the main Australian facility and the wholly owned subsidiary in Winnipeg Canada of a major North American commercial aircraft manufacturer.

Improved the transportation asset availability for a major Canadian oilfields extractor in Alberta. Determined how data from performance sensors could be exploited to increase efficiencies and boost asset availability

Supported architectural design of a solution for a Canadian aerospace manufacturer to manage the receipt, storage and distribution of Field Loadable Software to Aircraft. Identified questions for other solution partners to resolve.

Contributed to the architectural design of a solution for the receipt, management and distribution of AHMS Data from a client’s aircraft for a Canadian aerospace manufacturer.

Developed a comprehensive conceptual solution for an A&D After Market Solution to maximize IBM products and techniques for Airframe and Engine OEMs in A&D. Defined requirements, created CBM (Business Component Model), mapped CBM to requirements, mapped requirements to IBM Applications, created process flows for key areas, and prepared A&D roadmap for AOG (Aircraft On Ground).

Advised a Canadian aerospace manufacturer on business scenarios and lower level business use cases to develop a solution requirements definition for their AHMS (Aircraft Health Monitoring System) and subsequent processing solutions.

Managing Consultant & Project Manager / IBM China, Shanghai, China, Aug 2007 – Aug 2011

Implemented SAP to manage the company Order to Cash, Order to Pay, Finance and Master Data Management functions. Tested the pilot roll out of a template solution developed in the USA and customized to meet local Chinese legal requirements and the needs of a developing market.

Applied SAP PLM to manage the introduction of product changes in an FDA compliant environment for a North American surgical device manufacturer based in Suzhou, China.

Implemented SAP ISA&D EPP 6.0 using AXON's PCS Template as an accelerator, for a US based commercial aircraft manufacturer, a major Chinese airline, and the Shanghai Airport Authority.
