environment. To reduce the dumping of the pond ash, one of the traditional method is to utilize it in civil engineering fields. This study is based on the utilization of pond ash as fine aggregate in geopolymer concrete. Advantages:

Up to 5% fine aggregate in geopolymer concrete can be replaced by pond ash without any negative effect on strength and durability properties.

Dumping problems of pond ash can be minimized.

By using pond ash as fine aggregate, geopolymer concrete will become more greener concrete. Partial Replacement of Cement in concrete by Hypo Sludge (BE Project) Description:

Hypo sludge is a paper industry waste which can be used as partial replacement to cement in concrete. Up to 20% replacement of cement by hypo sludge results in increase in strength and workability. Dumping problem of paper industry waste can also be minimized.
