I am currently helping out as a Fleet consultant to Perry’s Transit. I am in charge of their Fleet Maintenance and Fleet Operations.

2005 – 2012

I was the Fleet Maintenance Manager for National-Lumber Co. I was responsible for all aspects of the Fleet Maintenance Department and Purchasing. I managed over 400 vehicles of tractors, trailers, heavy and light delivery trucks, vans, pick-ups, company cars, fork trucks, lulls and moffatts. We had multiple locations in MA, N.H. and R.I

2003 – 2005

I was the Fleet Operations Manager for Plymouth Rock Transportation. The company was sold.

Started Perry’s Automotive was Self Employed

1994 – 1999

I was the Director of Maintenance for Wakefield Concrete. The company was sold.

Professional Experience:

In all the jobs listed, my responsibilities below were all related to the above duties and responsibilities. These individual jobs lead me to my 40 + years of experience in Fleet Management and to where I am today.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

-I was in charge of the entire Fleet Maintenance Dept., Purchasing, and Fleet Safety, all shop managers, supervisors, maintenance mechanics, and all related and supported personal.

-I directed all equipment repairs and maintenance activities for all shop mechanics.

-I managed all outside repairs including body work and towing.

-I managed all equipment emergency road repairs.

-I administered quality control, safety, and education meetings for maintenance personnel.

-I was responsible for all outside equipment leases and rentals.

-I managed all company fueling.

-I managed I.F.T.A reports.

-I managed all D.O.T. driver files.

-I set up truck tracking systems for the fleet.

-I set up an electronic repair order system for Fleet Department.

-I handled all company vehicles accidents.

-I created and enforced all company policies regarding Fleet.

-I coordinated all Fleet actions with store managers in all locations for the Fleet needs and availability of the Fleet.

-I was P&L responsible to the president of the company.
