I am very interested to work as nurse in the department of Internal Medicine. It gives me great pleasure to submit my resume for your consideration.

I have always had a strong desire to work in the medical profession. I began my career in Mexico. I received a M.D. License in General Medicine and began practicing in 1981. During that time, I worked in a hospital in the Labor and Delivery department, delivering babies, as well general medicine. In December of 1991, I began working at Kaiser Permanente as a Lab Tech Assistant/Phlebotomist. Since starting at the lab, I have used my fluency in Spanish and English as well as my knowledge of the American and Latino cultures to interpret for patients when needed. I have continued to improve my abilities and service through various classes. I have received a Phlebotomy certificate, Bilingual (Spanish) Medical Interpreter. Following is my resume which covers my education and experience in greater detail.

On March 25, 2009, I received a Registered Nurse license and worked as a temporary nurse in the clinic at Kaiser for short time. Currently I am working at Santa Rosa Community Health Center as a Registered Nurse and IBCLC and CDE. I am doing mom and baby care – the first visit after hospital discharge and lactation support. I attended 2 5 day conference on lactation obtaining a certificate as lactation educator. Studied at UCSD for lactation consultant, obtained a certificate for IBCLC on 10/2012. On 8/2018 obtained my CDE certificate. Taught a group class for diabetes for 2 years. Currently I am working with pregnant women, who has DM and other people with diabetes in addition to IBCLC and Ambulatory care nurse.

I am committed to the medical profession and enjoy working with our community. I am looking forward to having a formal interview with you.

Sincerely

Francisca Sharp
