In April 2005 Wire-Mold PVC Operations- Ridged and Flexible,

Moved from Rocky Hill CT to Concord, NC.

I was asked to join the company and launch the Extrusion/ Molding departments.

This involved setting up the new department & training new operators.

Establish fixtures & fittings and UL relationships for our new products.

Write new Standard Working Instructions (SWIs), implementing new SOPs

And new machine operating process parameters.

Introducing daily Preventive maintenance checks for operators & technicians.

Prepare the department for the initial ISO certification and periodic recertification.

Introduce a new PVC supplier with huge cost savings. Establish all UL testing procedures for the new PVC. Prepared the new PVC materials for production use. This included both flex and rigid PVC.

Lead on many Kaizen events over the years. With substantial cost savings through Value stream mapping results, and improved process flow plans. Spearhead continuous improvement

Introduction of laser printing methods,

PVC die design to replace older dies and improve the concept of raceway current design
