Prior to shift, meet with team members to review Level 5 BPB Board Reviews.
Cycle each station at least one time and escalate any concerns to Group Leader.
Complete all Error Proofing and Quality Checks. Escalate any non-conformances to Group Leader.
Complete OPM checks for each station I order to start conveyors and machines.
Ensure all operations have team members assigned to them.
Verify that Job Rotation Logs haven completed by team members. Review cleanliness of cell. Make sure all operations are OK and running 10-15 minutes into shift.
Assist Engineering/ Maintenance with any issues on the floor.
Escalate any production issues having to do with Safety, Quality or Efficiency to the Group Leader.
Assist with any quality gauging check performed by team members.
Perform layered audit as well a 24-hour audit. Check Lotus Notes. Solicit the team for any employee safety concerns.
Update Level 5 BPD Board for SPQRC.
Initiate problem-solving forms as required.
Verify scrap tags are completed and the material is disposition correctly.
At the end of my shift provide buffer/ scrap counts, verify that there are no outstanding quality issues and discuss shift results with Group Leader.
On a weekly basis, conduct a Safety Observation tour with the Group Leader. Ensure that the Layered Audit & Non-Conformance documented on level 5 BPD is completed.
Lead team meetings; fill in for Group Leader as required; fully rotate and perform all jobs within the facility
Trained and certified to instruct Health and Safety courses; address potential safety hazards identified by team members.
Support Cost Champion to reduce overall cost through problem solving and elimination of waste.
