I worked mainly in the dish room or on tray line depending on what my post is and what I'm available to do. In the dish room I set up the room for the day such as turning on the pulper, setting up trash cans, running dishes and pots and pans through the dishwasher. Later I come back to wash carts. In pots and pans I spray and wash them in the sink, let them rinse and sanitize. On tray line I help build the trays with food for the veterans. Additionally, I scrape what's left of it on some days. I've even spent time in vegetable preparation sanitizing, cutting, labelling fruits and vegetables. It's essentially helping everyone from the other assistants to the cooks so we can successfully meet the main goal.

I scanned packages to pallets after picking them off the conveyer belts. When the pallet was high enough, we wrapped them up so they could go onto the trucks in outbound. I just did the scanning and occasionally the wrapping, however.
