I am a multi-talented executive with a decade of Fortune 50 sales & marketing experience, and 8- years CEO management experience, and have 20 years of technical application database and systems integration experience. I have been an entrepreneur in several industries, most recently healthcare mobile telemedicine consultation and scheduling applications. I graduated from U of Oregon’s Exec MBA program in Portland in June 2019.

I have had two distinct career focuses. Initially, I carried a bag and had management positions in sales and marketing with a Xerox and IBM and HP. I then pivoted into a technical career with my own consulting firms working with IBM\Bell labs databases, Microsoft, Apple, and network, VoIP vendors, I started an IoT Smart home business after Y2K. Several of my senior-level positions were in a blended sales, marketing and technical support in high tech embedded processor and communication boards for the military, communications and embedded computing markets.

In 2014, I stepped down as CEO from a promising Medical Software Startup to fight serious cancer which I am now free of. My return to the workforce, in the middle of a bad recession in Alaska, gave me two unique experiences. One in the Broadcast, Cable, and Digital Advertising area focusing on health care and emerging businesses. The other with a former employer, Xerox, whose agency hired me to manage their largest accounts; the State of Alaska, Federal Government, and Education markets. This job was arranged so I could travel to Portland every other weekend for 20 months to get my Executive MBA from the University of Oregon. I graduated in 2019 as a Duck!

I was introduced to a CBS, NBC affiliate and Cable Company after an extended medical leave and with no industry experience was number one account executive in the group of very tenured salespeople for new business. I opened new markets in medical and emerging companies in Alaska. I wrote and produced 20 commercials, as I was in direct sales and not assigned to existing agencies. GCI was sold and I transitioned to Xerox where I handle Xerox’s largest account, the State of Alaska and 3rd party software vendors.

On the technical side, I have hands-on hardware, networking and software development experiences in my consulting business and created complex CRM workflow databases for over 100 companies. I also had CIO responsibilities in 2 of the 58 California courts, CTO system integrator responsibilities in my IoT Smart house company & CEO responsibility in two shareholder companies I co-founded.

I have moved to the Portland area upon graduation to find a new position in the Northwest. My final city of residence will depend on where my new position is located and its requirements.
