Dynamic analysis and progressive collapse mechanism of single reticulated roof shell structures. (M.tech Project)(Ongoing)
(Completed objective) Free vibration frequency analysis of spherical single layer reticulated roof shell structures was performed for roof spans of 30m, 40m, 50m. For each span 6 models of 6 rise to span ratios were modeled of 1/3,1/4,1/5,1/6,1/7,1/8 in SAP2000.Each model was loaded with 0.6kN/m2, 1.2 kN/m2,1.8 kN/m2 .Variation of the free vibration frequency was observed and analyzed with loading, rise/span ratio and spans.
Optimum rise/span ratio was found for based on support reaction and deflections.
2nd objective: To carry out a study of progressive collapse mechanism by applying the time history data from an earthquake to the structure using damage accumulation method and make appropriate changes to structure such as to avoid collapse.
3rd Objective: To perform Incremental dynamic analysis and to obtain fragility curves for various rise/span ratios.
Analysis of productivity using Artificial Neural Network(ANN) (B.E Project,8th semester)
Prediction of labour productivity using ANN in MATLAB was the main objective.
Difference in productivity with the use of ACC and conventional bricks was found.
Work, Motion and Time study of wall masonry was considered.
Factors affecting productivity and the amount by which they affect productivity were found by surveying 100 sites in Pune.
This method can also be applied for prediction of concrete strength over time. Mini Project
