As part of the Emerging Leaders’ Program, I had the opportunity to be part of the contracting division within the National Capital Region (Region 11), where I assisted my fellow coworkers with market research as a means of adapting to an agile market and economy. In addition, I got the chance to work on a number of army contracts that continuously satisfy the requirements set by the Department of Defense.

As part of the Federal Work-Study Program, I was a member of the Student Administrative Services of University College, one of the colleges of Syracuse University targeting part-time students. I was entrusted to respond to the daily queries of students, teachers and other external partners of the school, to support the management of records and inventory, and participate in the organization of events to raise awareness on the programs provided by University College.
International Labour Organization, Geneva, Switzerland
Usher, May–June 2018
Worked as an usher at the 107th Session of the International Labour Conference in Geneva, in which 6,000 delegates from the 187 Member States of the International Labour Organization were brought together to discuss a standard-setting item on violence and harassment in the world of work, as well as items to promote tripartism and social dialogue, development cooperation and the application of standards. The job allowed me to respond to the delegates’ queries and the ILO Secretariat and support the organization of this annual international conference.
