Hired to re-head the newly acquired FLEET FINANCIAL direct response account for both retail products and franchise credit card (as this provided program continuity from my previous responsibilities at Devon Direct). Responsible for overall strategic direction of account, as well as, establishing relationships with clients, structuring internal staff and reorganizing of Agency’s infrastructure. Account was serviced out of the Connecticut office and entailed 50% travel to Boston and 25% to Pennsylvania. Partnered with Fleet’s internal Analytics’ department to deploy innovative targeting strategies to best leverage ROI. Staffing to handle both sides of the business totaled 30 FTEs.

Due to MCI Client request, Bozell Worldwide hired me to resume my role of Account Director for the MCI Acquisition Account, previously held at Devon Direct. Established an autonomous team to service the MCI account consisting of 25 FTEs in the areas of Account, Production, Creative and Database Marketing. Serviced the MCI account in total for 4 years. At Bozell, my role evolved to Director of Client Services. DEVON DIRECT, Pennsylvania, ’93 to ’96, Account Director

Director of ADVANTA Company's acquisition credit card direct mail programs. Responsible for the strategic planning which included generating innovative database marketing and mailing of over 100 million packages annually, as well as, the overall management of the entire team which included Account, Production, Creative and Data. Partnered with in-house team to generate the idea for Advanta’s simple/one page application (In Your Face) control package. This creative concept was cited as a breakthrough concept by industry luminaries.

Director of MCI Acquisition direct mail programs for both Domestic and International markets. Responsible for strategic planning, database strategy, innovative creative development, implementation of twelve million pieces of mail quarterly and overall supervision of internal departments. During tenure on the MCI account, directly responsible for generating strategic ideas which beat control by as much as 17%.
