Project Summary :

FOREST CITY at Malaysia consists of four man-made islands, total land area of 1,817ha - about three times the size of Singapore Sentosa island. The project is valued around S$225 billion. The Integrated City with 8 major industries (Foreign Investment, Tourist Attractions, Education Hub, Entrepreneurial base, MICE, Retirement Community, E-Commerce Centers & Financial District

Main Roles & Achievements as Senior BIM Manager-Digital Engineering Center

Facilitate construction by applying BIM, VDC and CAD technologies in the design phase

Check, collaborate & validate 3D models compatibility & facilitate Common Data Environment.

Model setup, Clash detection, & Coordinate with Digital engineering team & IBS team for building constructable 3D models of residential buildings, apartments Multi storey villas & five-star hotels in Revit & Tekla structures (developed Revit Models for references & clash detection using Solibiri model checker/Navis works)

Developed BIM protocols, modelling guide and asset information modelling guidelines.

Achieved 4D Crane Simulations of 40 floors residential building in liaise with contractor’s crane schedule.

Implementation of project & 6D Facility management software ‘EcoDomus’ is a facility management software for life cycle featuring a common data environment which provides for real-time integration of the Asset Information Model

3D Model, clash detection & Coordination with projects & construction team for the Sultan Ibrahim Larkin Stadium JDT Football stadium with span of 140,000 square meters with a total built area of 70,000 square meters and can accommodate up to 40,000 people in Johor.

Achieved 4D sequencing Crane simulation for Foot Ball stadium using Navis works under superior guidance in line with contractor’s crane simulation schedule.

Achieved 3D Modeling, checking & coordination of Sales Gallery of Forest City with 3 floors & radial steel structure for asset information, using Tekla structures for Steel & concrete structure and Autodesk Revit for Architecture modeling.

Enhanced IBS rebar production rate by 60% per day by developing & implementing the rebar quantity take-off along with rebar bending shapes to document format using from Tekla structures, enabling the operators to feed in the data directly to machines.

Coordination & support to 5D YTWO formative team for implementing the Test Project at Forest city.

Managing & driving BIM standards, policies, library, parametric modelling and developing Plug-in for faster modeling.

Construction of accommodation, Administration, storage & common facilitates buildings along Choa chu kang way, Singapore.

Leading the BIM Engineering team for PPVC Modular construction, structural drawings & consulting. Leading a team of 5 BIM modelers with an average of 2 projects.

3D BIM models reviewing & coordination with project managers, IBS managers & clients.

Preparation of BIM Execution plan & BIM Implementations, standards, modelling workflow & methodologies
