PERSONAL DESCRIPTION

Sound technical knowledge on materials science and mechanical engineering, I have been working as a Scientist at Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) for over 9 years. I am handling basic machining, testing, characterisation of metallic materials (primarily high strength low alloy steels). I have worked in development of PAFC particularly in mechanical engineering perspective. I have also worked on 2XXX and 5XXX series of Al alloys as part of my PhD work. Currently, I am working on HSLA steels characterisation.

I have hands-on experience in using SEM right from sample preparation both conductive and non-conductive materials to imaging. Sample preparation of TEM is a major part in TEM analysis. I have hands-on experience in sample preparation of TEM specimens.
