EBPP (Electronic Bill Presentment and Payment) is a web application which hosts the online billing and payment area of BT.com website. The EBPP service allows Trusted BT.com customers to see an online presentation of their recent bills. The system works by pulling back HTML presenting a page in the bill from a system called EBPP eBilling server which is based on a product called eaDirect .This system takes the billing data feeds from systems such as CSS, CFB, and Geneva and process it ready for presentation. The eBilling system deployed on BEA Weblogic 8.1 platform, it performs the heavy weight processing of bill data to paginate it and allow for sorting, and filtering and reporting based on the data.EBPP application also allow user to pay their bills online through credit/debit card along with several other payment options. Application interacts with the other systems using web services and oracle stored procedures for various user transactions.
