Reservoir/Petroleum Engineering/Petrophysics:

Work closely with KOC Field Development teams, understand their requirements and provide them the information (operational and technical) required in a quick time.

Analysis of wells production changes and recommend action plans.

Develops internal network for knowledge sharing within the company, participates in local technology watch or professional events.

Writing and/or assisting in technical reports or documents for internal and/or external distribution.

Analyze possible client, product, or research solutions using standard procedures in order to recommend ideas or changes.

- Build and review static and dynamic reservoir models using Petrel and Eclipse 2/8

- Well work over planning & review work flow

- Study and addressing Well location, drainage area, seismics, logs, reservoir properties, perforation history, production history with OFM, wc history, interpreted OWC vs. time, SBHP history, PNC-Logs, OWC interpreted from PNC-logs, and review comments.

- Results/Requests/Recommendations from well reviews and well reports.

- Study and addressing water coning problem for the high WC wells and recommend some remedial actions to control water Coning (water shut off techniques)

- Calculate critical production rate with comparison to the allowable rate, also, estimate the critical drawdown

- Estimate the time of breakthrough using Eclipse for the high WC wells

Perform Vertical Interference Testing (VIT) Interpretation.

Perform Pressure Transient Analysis (PTA).

Perform QC, and review WL-OH Triple and Quad Combo logs for more than 100 wells.

Perform Vertical and Horizontal PLT/ILT preparation, operation, and interpretation for more than 150 wells.

QC/QA of Formation- Testing.

Perform Mobility Estimation.

Perform PNC Sigma, Gas Saturation, and C/O preparation, QC, and Interpretation for more than 200 wells.

Design and Run Inflow Control Device (ICD) Operations. Well Integrity:

Expert in URS (Ultra Radial Scanner) corrosion/CBL/VDL preparation, QC, and Interpretation.

Expert in MIT (Caliper Log) preparation, QC, and Interpretation.

Preform MTD (Multi Thickness Detector) preparation, QC, and Interpretation.

Apply OWN developed Inflow Performance model (IPR) using multi-choke PLT data for KOC reservoirs, the model ranked no. 1 in term of accuracy and simplicity among the other developed models in the industry.

Instructor in IES-School1 Cased-Hole Petrophysics (PNC).

Support different geozones for WL operations especially for MAPS-PLT, PLT, Well Integrity, and PNC

Successfully Run first CRE in Triple Casing (AD-0053), Double Casing (MN-0147), Casing with ICD, and in 16’’ Open Hole (AH-0240) in Kuwait (Sigma and Nvision).

Full Integration Study of “Fracturing and Completion Optimization” for West Kuwait Jurassic Reservoirs, based on this study two candidates were selected for acid multi-stage HF (UG-0077 and UG-0255H). Furthermore, based on this we are currently upselling pre and post-Frac evaluation for 30 wells in new west Kuwait field using FracAdvisor and Raptor.

PLT+CRE Sigma integration Study that highly helped KOC to shut off around 20 ft producing 1600 of water from MN-0168 from a total water production of 1800 bbl/d.

UN-0142: Successful PLT intervention in harsh conditions: High H2S/CO2, HPHT and Gas condensate environment. This was the first multi stage completion (MSC) well and the first PLT to be conducted in MSC for this Jurassic Gas team with the aim to evaluate the performance of the MS Ports and the effectiveness of the acid stimulation.

Integration of horizontal PLT-MAPS data with Raptor Sigma to determine the source of water and looking for oil potentials in a horizontal well completed with ICDs (MN-0162H).

Raptor Tool Applications and Challenges in Multi Barrier Well Bore System Case Study (MN-0147, MG-0149, MN-0123, and AD-0053).

MN-0031, MN-0108, and MN-0181complete Reservoir and Petrophysical study to know the source of water production and early water breakthrough.

Successful Hydraulic Isolation Assessment Saves Rig Utilization Time and Unnecessary Cement Remedial Squeeze Operation - North Kuwait Case (SA-0836).

Integration of Raptor Sigma/C-O for future oil time lapse monitoring for two heavy oil wells and monitor steam injection (SR-1005 and SR-1014). Sigma objective is to compare with OH porosity and monitor Steam in the future.

Integration of Raptor Sigma/Nvision to detect the presence of gas in the annulus (9 5/8” and 7’ csg) and to quantify the saturation of gas in the formation.

Vertical Interference Testing coupled with a Petrophysical well to well correlation of Five KOC. Burgan wells in three phases to evaluate reservoir parameters and connectivity.

Significant increase in Net Pay and post perforation production using a calibrated PNC field models to identify upcoming pay zones.

Time lapse and reservoir analysis of water injection logging for SA wells into MA formation for around 12 wells.

Neutron-Density Porosity Evaluation from PNC Data Compared to OH Density-Neutron Cross Plot Porosity.

Identify the water movement between the open perforations inside the reservoir using water flow logging, BH-0047.

Identify shallow gas movement and leak behind the second casing barrier using noise and multi thickness detectors tools, AH-0019.
