Standard operation procedure was given to us by the manager ever Wednesday it training we get to do certain things within the working place so that you know how to deal with certain scenarios and if any inaccurate thing happens on witch you receive training you get disciplined by either a warning and or a disciplinary hearing .

STOCK LOSS ACTION PLAN

We have a lot of stock loss during the December festive season in January after we have done stock take and we are over the target of stock loss we have to implement a stock loss action plan on with all of the colleges have a say on hoe we would handle stock loss and hoe we could prevent it, that were we start keeping track on all new stock and high valued items on the floor and to be more visual for blind spots in the store .

Every Tuesday we would do stocks takes on gaming and new DVD and CD releases as well as high valued merchandise and then send it to HR and our Area Manager July Mabona

CASHIER

I was a cashier as well as it is one of the main task 2 personal a day is every day, when working on the till we have a whole list of SOP’s to keep in mind, like to check the signatures of the credit cards and also if someone uses a RCS card to ask for an ID . when it came to pushing sales you had to make sure the client got the full MUSICA experience so to small talk with the client wilts ringing up their merchandise you always ask did you find everything you are looking for always acknowledging that you are busy at the till and must not keep other customers waiting and if so, you have to step away from the till to fetch an item just to inform the line that you are doing so.

DATA CAPTURING: (DHET)

Capturing of Examiners/Moderators claim form and then organising them alphabetically, answering phone calls related to the claim forms if necessary calling the Moderator/Examiner if there is discrepancy and not enough evidence are attached to claim forms. Manually doing the calculations of claims before it’s done on the system to for come any inaccuracies before sending the claims to Department Finance at 123 Francis Baard Street.

Allocating required stock for the day for each shop completing check list with amount of stock allocated.

Attended to Customer Queries and Complaints.

Applying Policies and Procedures as per training/compliance to OHS Act.

End of the Monthly Stock Count and rearrange Store Rooms.
