As a Geologist of nine years (09) experience, I have had a challenging career opportunity in the oil and gas sector, where I have utilized my broad-based training skills and experience acquired over a wide range of key industry roles from my progression as Up-hole Observer, a Field Seismologist and gradually rising to an SPS Seismologist where I am presently involved in seismic exploration techniques activities for major OML geological projects.
I have deployed some strong technical problem-solving skills in handling major seismic exploration projects in the Niger Delta and with a proven ability to work in remote areas and challenging terrain as well as 100% flexibility to work with a proven track record of achievements and consistently adhering to government and oil industry safety regulations.
I am currently with BGP/CNPC International Nigeria Limited, a world class seismic exploration company and at the moment involved with the GBARAN 3D reshoot project where I am bringing my expertise to bear in a wide range of geological activities like Data acquisition, Geophysics, Geologic mapping, seismic, drilling and field development.

I WAS IN THE UGNL AND IDSL (A SUBSIDIARY OF NNPC) PROJECT TEAM THAT WAS INVOLVED IN THE 3S SEISMIC EXPLORATION OF THE OGUALI 3D AND THE OML 22 3D PROSPECT S FOR SPDC. I was involved in the following activities:
Use of seismic exploration techniques for petroleum prospecting using the 3D seismic
technique;
Seismic survey and mapping activities of prospective oil exploration areas according to certain specifications from the Clients;
Preparation of field data for computation and quality control checks;
Use of GP seismic software for the computation, adjustment and quality checks of field survey data in UKOOAP190 format;
Drilling operations using 3D seismic data acquisition using Thumping, Flushing, Single
Deep Hole and Uphole Refraction survey methods;
Participated in real time planning of works in the seismic crew and documentation of production reports after quality control checks both in the office and field;
Involved in field design procedures and HSE activities to ensure appropriate working requirements and job specifications for production maximization and good data acquisition. BGP/CNPC INTERNATIONAL NIGERIA LIMITED (2010 – PRESENT) Company’s profile: The Bureau of Geophysical Prospecting/Chinese National Petroleum Corporation International Nigeria Limited (CNPC/BGP) is a world leading geophysical service company in hydrocarbon offshore and onshore areas worldwide. It utilizes multivalve seismic exploration which applies P- wave, S-wave as an effective fine method to prospect at petroliferous zones in an environmentally friendly manner and with best quality of service to their clients.
I have been working for this company in the past eight (08) years and involved in the following key projects:
