Conduct basic and product operating training and to the dealer manpower as well as local mechanic training to make the local availability of trained mechanics.
Diagnose the field problems and give the suggestion and feedback to R&D and quality department for the product development.
Analyze field failures of tractors, prepare P.C.R reports, P.D.I reports and take care of installation reports; conduct service camps, mechanic meet and customer meet for the service feedback.
Perform warranty audit, audit of system norms; monitor dealer manpower for the service productivity as well as part inventory at dealer level.
Receive new tractors from Escorts Ltd., Faridabad, inspect the same and rectify the problems; maintain the inventory of 300 tractors and any repairs if required to be carried out.
Carry out pre delivery inspection (PDI) of new tractors.
Responsible for repairs of tractors, spot survey and assessment with surveyor, actual repairs, final inspection & trial after completion of repairs, submission of accident claims, etc.
Send F.I.R reports, P.D.I reports, installation report as well as take care of activity like service camp, customer meet, warranty audit, audit of System norms, rectifying difficulty complains of customer as well as analyzing failure problems.
Establish maintenance strategies to install and commission equipment; create plant preventative maintenance procedures.
Plan routine maintenance of plant equipment and machinery.
Oversee and control maintenance costs as well as manage budget for current and future equipment upgrades and replacements.
Develop and implements a plan of introduction, orientation and regular follow-up with newly-signed dealers and staff.
