2019-2020

Sourcing Manager, Logistics Manager, Safety Advisor

Accepted position with quickly expanding company to assist in branching out into new markets and complete budgeting and materials scheduling for potentially large government contract. Utilized existing operating system and Office Suite products to purchase production and shop support supplies, opened new accounts with wider array of vendors, gained immediate cost savings and absorbed all inbound and outbound shipping concerns.

Took over all receiving functions and agreed to review and advise on shop safety program.

Completed all budgeting and scheduling information allowing multiple options for fabrication of metal equipment to allow company to competitively quote phase 2 and phase 3 of government project. During this time I made recommendations for procedural improvements and to streamline spend control to gain highest efficiency and best cost performance.

Employment was abruptly ended without notice and company manager hired a former coworker as Operational Manager to facilitate new systems and procedures while absorbing purchasing and sourcing duties.

2013-2019

Purchasing Manager (Domestic and International Logistics, Quality Control, Project Management)

In this position, I was responsible to create and maintain a procurement system to support ALL capital projects, project management, internal department needs and provide all costing models and estimates for national/international sales group. While controlling up to a 24 million dollar spend on Capital Projects, I averaged 5-8% below budget performance through strategic initiatives and negotiation-even in down years such as 2015-2016. I worked in concert with 6-person project management team to establish and maintain all fabrication and equipment schedules. Through this I achieved an excellent completion on time rate, resulting in ZERO dollars lost to contractual liquid damages during my tenure. Included in my procurement duties were management of vendor selection and relationships, fabrication estimating and budgeting, systems integration and new product introduction and vetting, complete management of costing databases and management of support staff .

Logistics management in this position included responsibility for all domestic and international shipping and compliance for all Capital Project goals and targets in support of manufacturing as well as Parts, Process, Service, and Sales Departments. I developed all project freight cost and scheduling estimates and facilitated all transportation from LTL trucking to very complex over dimensional loads, along with international import and export services. My achievements include operating well under budget, creating additional revenue streams, building an expanded international carrier network allowing for multiple

and specialties while utilizing new and existing carrier providers and being able to react and stay flexible in the constantly changing logistics environment.

My position as Quality Control manager operated and maintained the QC program, managing and working with staff to provide all machinery testing, support equipment and accessory vetting and testing for new components, sourcing and vetting of new fabrication and other service providers, reporting feedback and selection alternatives for developing and instituting new designs and updated versions of their complete line of process equipment.

Through my years in this position I achieved superior annual review scores, improved the data flow, reporting and communications on project based progress, and maintained an excellent below budget and completion ratio while helping the company to expand and achieve record sales in 2017 and 2018 with no additional staff. Company restructured the Operations Department in 2019 which lead to my position being terminated in late July.

As Office Manager, scripted most executive and company correspondence and oversaw all facets of office equipment and supplies. This included upgrade of server(s), workstations, multipurpose copiers, ERP software package and all related service and IT contracts for such. I accepted a severance package and left the company at the end of 2012.
