Rick has been managing scope, schedule and budget as the OwnersRepresentative for over 20 years. Many owners looking to improve their real estate (or comply with the PIP) are not aware of the specifics of the project delivery process, it's not their primary responsibility, it's mine. General contractors and architects may be contracted by the owner... but don't represent the owners best interests ... they have their own profit goals, design incentives or other primary goals. The role of the Owners Representative is to keep things moving without delays, while representing only the owners best interest concerning scope, schedule and budget.
