Total strength of the staff was around 55 Nos. The 1.3 Billion Dollar Project was executed to ISO 9000/9002 Standards throughout using the B.P. “Microdoc.” Verification and tracking system to accord with Quality Assurance Control.

On Project at Das Island, I handled the complete Project Document Control System. It was a British Petroleum (BP) Program,
For the assignment of Building Project completed in Abu Dhabi, I handled Project Document Tracking System. It’s a CORTS based on FOXPRO System and is an ADNOC Program.
For the assignment with TOTALFINAELF: The Project Document Tracking System was named as SCADOR. It’s a French Program mainly used by TOTALFINAELF .
In regards to Commissioning – I was given the responsibility to prepare Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning Dossiers with the help of my Superior.
All the above mentioned programs records and tracks the movement of documents, transmittals, drawings, distribution, expediting and storage of records between Contractor and Company. It also generates and distributes weekly status reports of outstanding documents for the Engineer’s to action. Making photocopies and distributing the documents for action to the discipline Engineers. The system generates incoming initial transmittals and also generates an outgoing response to the Contractors of the actioned documents received from the discipline Engineers.
I maintain and update the Project overall filing system, including all technical data, i.e A-Z drawings, ISO Drawings, Catalogues/Manuals, Specifications, Procedures, ITP’s, Method Statements, etc. and generate records. Attending Switchboard, distribute calls as and when required. Keeping record on the International calls made by the Project Personnel.
In addition to above, I also perform a variety of clerical and general office duties. I perform the role of a Secretary during the absence of Senior Secretary as and when required by the Project Management, typing and proof-ready letters, Reports, Tabulations, etc. Operating the Document Control System and retrieving the documents as and when required.
My past experience working in India - includes working under the supervision of an Accounts Manager where I had to prepare outgoing correspondence to dealers, sending and collection of faxes to and from various commands, updating monthly sales records, operating photocopier and fax machines. I maintained records of all the Cash Receipts and also prepared Cash Memos, etc. File department correspondence such as leave records, time sheets, etc. Typed monthly reports and document management and also keep track of monthly expenditure on various items viz; Stationery, Food, Beverage, etc.
