His research interests include the study of tribology, tribocorrosion, corrosion, surface energy, surface enhancements and texturing, laser-based tribological enhancements, nanocomposite coatings, and additive manufactured metallic materials. His expertise in tribology, surface engineering, CAD/CAM, GD&T, and automated manufacturing has enabled him to be involved in innovative R&D projects, and produce 17 research article and 14 conference publications.
