1.Completed B.Sc. project on “Breeding and Phenotypical Studies on Aquarium Fish Betta”, Madras Christian College, Chennai.

Contributed significantly to infrastructure development of the newly built fish farm in Madras Christian College.

Regularly conducted research on the quality of water through analysis of its phytoplankton biodiversity as well as chemical parameters such as salinity, turbidity, temperature and pH.

Maintained the fish hatcheries and accurate recorded the phenotypical changes occurring among the fries and fingerlings.

Achieved targets within the given time period.

2. Successfully completed fifteen days internship on “Study of Diversity of Odonates In and Around Tropical Institute of Ecological Studies and Microbial Analysis of Drinking Water of the Village, Vellore”, Kerala, India on June 2018.

Precisely noted and recorded the variety of dragonflies and damselflies.

Media preparation for bacterial cultures, microbial subculture, serial dilution for bacterial culture, pouring, pegging, streaking on plates.

Isolation and culture of bacterial from soil and water.

3. Successfully completed M.Sc. dissertation on “Anticancer Activity of Intestinal Mucus of Marine Catfish (Tachysurus dussumieri) against Breast Cancer Cell Line MDA-MB-231” at University of Madras (April, 2019).

Maintained and established cancer cell lines.

Identified cell changes under microscope, determining cell counts on hemocytometer.

Quantification and qualification of carbohydrates, proteins and lipids via standard protocols.

Assisted in developing, writing and updating laboratory SOP’s and approved procedures.

4.Hands on experience in Cell Culture, PCR, Rt PCR, Gel electrophoresis, Western blotting, Chromatography, DNA and RNA extraction, Spectrometry, Histochemistry, Fluorescent microscopy, ELISA test, Immunodiffusion, bacterial culture and handled a number of animal models including Snails, Drosophila, Fish and Mice.
