JOB ROLES & KEY SKILLS

Field Engineer Piping for 8MTPA C&W Plant for Tata steel and iron mining.

Evaluate the daily & weekly site progress & report to the site manager.

Conducting weekly meetings with Client/Contractors related with the site progress, issues related with Piping & Mechanical activities.

Visit the site everyday as site surveillance, in order to conform the work according to the job specification.

Very well succeeded in performing the role of expeditor in regard to achieve the procurement of materials from the contractors & to get the scheduled progress from the contractors

Review the project requirements, the constructability check list and identifying critical execution issues to guide the construction execution plan.

Keeping good working relationship with the Client and Contractors representatives

Extensive implementation of HSE for safe working practices, health surveillance and environmental issues.

Liaise with Clients related to Field engineering, Q.C department for Modifications and Approval of project variences.

Coordination of site activities like piping fabrication, erection using P& ID and isometrics & material management.

In charge of Piping fitup and erection of ERW, SEAMLESS AND RUBBERLINE PIPES of 1” to 12” pipe sizes.

Preparation of MTO of Pipes, Pipe fittings, Valves, Special Fittings

Preparation of Overall plot plan, Piping Layouts, Equipment Layouts, Piping GA Drawings, Pump Piping Layouts, Pipe rack Piping layout, Expansion loop sizing, Piping isometrics review & correction.

COMPUTER PROFICIENCY

Well versed with Windows, MS Office and the Internet.

C and C++ programming.
