Working as an Operator of the power plant through distributed control system.

Maintain the Boiler water parameters. Maintain the operation of such equipment as boilers, stokers, pumps, air compressor, and other equipments.

Good Knowledge of Hot start up, Cold start up and Hot box up procedure of Boiler.

Maintain and check the Turbine parameters regularly (Pressure, Vibration, Temperature, etc.,)

Check daily logs to determine proper operation of equipment.

Commissioning:

Pre commissioning of boiler such as Hydraulic test, Slow firing, Alkali boil out, Passivation & Steam blowing.

Commissioning of all Ash handling system.

Commissioning all rotating machines (like Boiler feed pumps, ACWP, CEP, DM water pumps and fan.

Commissioning all fuel feeders (coal feeder & spreader, Bagasse feeder & distributor).
