Oct 18’- May 19’. Senior Safety Consultant. Merck Pharmaceuticals. Providing consulting services on behalf of Merck to include; developing a centralized permit system/process for high risk work. Developing matrices for improved safety performance. Coaching/advising Merck employees and contractors on the implementation of Merck global procedures and global safety best practice applications.

Oct 16- Sept 18’. Data Centre Safety Manager- Microsoft. Working with the owner’s team Mr. Pavitt was responsible for overseeing the GC’s health and safety during the construction of multiple projects and ensuring the owners safety management requirements were followed and embedded into the GC’s safety program. Projects consisted of $500 million new builds to $50 million retrofits. During Mr. Pavitt’s tenure the safety performance established a drop in the recordable rate from 3.9 to its closure of 0.5 TRIFR, with zero Lost Times.
