. 20-year career at Baxter Laboratories, Inc.

-Took sole responsibility of sales & marketing system shortly after being hired

Outcome: Sales increased to all-time high; surpassed $ 10,000,000 for first time

-Implemented initial company-wide micrographics system, permitting first true records keeping

Outcome: Positioned company to be in compliance with the FDA

-Implemented administrative and records-keeping system for Company’s IT department

-Outcome: Systematic control of documentation necessary for regulatory compliance.

. 8-year ownership of OPTIM Inc., an IT consulting firm

-Developed and implemented a company-wide records-keeping system

-Outcome: FDA compliance

-Designed and programmed numerous applications, positioning clients to track sales

Last eight years ( 2008 – 2016 ) prior to retiring, but once again seeking part-time employment:

. President of GRS Consulting, a data management (Excel, QuickBooks, etc.) services firm

( The services below were for Microlink Devices, Inc., first as an employee of Accountemps, then as an employee, and then as the owner of GRS Consulting called back twice after having temporarily retired. )

-Initially provided bookkeeping support followed by managing the accounting department on a contract basis, as well as implementing and managing the company’s on-line payroll system

Outcome: ISO compliance, which positioned Company for government agency contracts

-Established written procedures for accounting system

Outcome: GAAP compliance, ISO compliance and internal security

-Assumed responsibility for the tracking and reporting of government agency contracts

Outcome: Accurate, current sales and inventory data demanded by the DCAA and DCMA government agencies.

Personal

. Proud parent / stepparent of 7 children and 14 grandchildren; previous wife passed away from cancer.
