I am applying for a job position to work as a Motion Designer/Storyteller in First Look Media. I found your jobs details on your recruiting website PostJonFree (LENSA) happened to fit with my major interest, work experience and expertise learned in my previous jobs,
I’d been Working as a video producer and teacher in CTU University, Taiwan, 2008 to 2018. When I first met the President, he assigned me to carry out video productions for every campus event. So I recruited and trained some 30 volunteer students as Video Service Team. And I managed to deliver a lot of video works during the ten year, and also few business projects. I also taught “Graphic Design” using Adobe Illustrator, “Video Editing” using Adobe After Effects/Premiere Pro, “Short Film Production” using Panasonic cameras, and “3D animation” using Autodesk 3ds Max. I’d been working as an Artist Engineer in ITRI (Industrial Technology Research Institutes), a research Labs in Taiwan since 1992. ITRI is dedicated to develop & transfer new technologies to civil industries; The Virtual Reality Team I joined was under the Industry of Optical Electronics Branch. The major achievement there was Jade Cabbage program for National Palace Museum. While developing those VR programs I used to work as a Creative Art director and an artist to assist a group of five engineers. delivered art assets of all formats required for many multiple projects. I obtained my M.F.A diploma from Computer Art Department, School of Visual Arts in June 1990. With my award winning solo thesis project, a 3D Character Animation “The Untouchable Diamond” I won “SIGGRAH ’90 Screening Room” Show Entry, I moved back to my Taiwan in April 1992. I enjoyed the working patterns in each of my previous jobs. The primary tools I used are Adobe packages-After Effects, Premieres, illustrator and Photoshop. I think I am a candidate who can meet many of your responsibilities description, We should give each other a win-win chance. Sincerely,
