REVIEW OF IRRIGATION SCENARIO OF WALAYAR DAM, PALAKKAD

This project deals with finding out the crop water requirement of crops and thereby help and guide the farmers to select the suitable frequency and amount of water required for agriculture by the implementation of CROPWAT software. Efficient agricultural water management requires reliable estimation of crop water requirement and the proper maintenance of the irrigation canals which is studied and analysed through this project.Efficient agricultural water management system and irrigation scheduling helps in the growth of economy
