Dear Sir or Madame,
I would like to apply for a position and submit my resume. As you will see from my resume I have worked at the pulp and paper mill Rayonier (formally Tembec) for many years. I began there as a labourer working in production at the Digesters. From there I moved into the maintenance department, specifically on the Dry Machine Project. This project was a multi-million-dollar project in which we were upgrading the old 1920’s system to a more modern European machine. We were tasked with converting a kraft machine to suit the pulp mill production. We worked closely with engineers, operations and staff in order to fit the needs of all involved. After this project was complete, I joined the guard crew and we were given the mandate of upgrading the safety throughout the site, through the creation of guards on all movable machinery. We continued to work closely as teams of operations, skilled workers and engineers with the collaboration of the CSST. In the last few years on site I gained more and more experience with millwrighting, helping and leading small projects throughout the site which were required to be done in a prompt and timely manner in order to get the mill producing. This work was often done during emergencies and required quick thinking and response as a team. I am a hard-working individual and willing to help with any job. I am also naturally logical and systematic in my dealings. I hope for a position that will allow me to continue to develop my competencies. I thank you for your consideration in this opportunity for advancement. My resume is below. Please contact me at 819-***-**** or email ***************@*******.*** Most Sincerely,
Scott Brunette
