roles and responsibilities

MEP SECTOR:

Responsible for Planning, Executing, monitoring, Testing & commissioning of all MEP systems like Fire Fighting, HVAC, Plumbing (Drainage, Water supply, Chiller piping, Pumps & Fire fighting), Special Fire suppression system like FM200 & Foam System, Electrical Panels, BMS as per compliance with the plan, Shop drawing, Specification, Standards and codes.

The role covers Detail study of Scope of tender, Drawings, Scheduled Equipments, Specifications, Quantity Take off and preparation of Bill of quantities for Mechanical Works for the project as per International codes.

Exposure in erection of Fire fighting Pumps (Horizontal Split case, End suction & Vertical Turbines Up to 2000 GPM), HDPE pipes, Sprinklers & Zone control valves, Flexible joints and its support works as per NFPA 13, NFPA 20 standards and conducting Testing & Commissioning of the system as per NFPA 25.

Having Knowledge in Erection of Fire hydrant, Fire Hose reel, Landing valve, Siamese pipes & its supports work as per NFPA 24 & 14 standard and conducting Testing & Commissioning of the system as per NFPA 291.

Working in Installation Special Fire Suppression system including Foam system for Generator rooms, FM 200 for Electrical rooms, Pre action system for lift Machine rooms and their panel termination as per NFPA standard & UAE code and doing Testing and commissioning of the above systems.

Attending Civil Defense Inspection & Get the approval from UAE Civil Defense.

Involving 24 / 7 inspection activities for the Dubai civil defense.

Preparing check list for the inspections and get the approval from the consultant.

Working in Domestic Water supply pump room system and drainage system & its accessories installations.

Responsible for the Drainage class -4 pipes & underground drainage pipes works, Water supply class - 5 pipes works & its accessories like water meter, Float valves, strainer & valves etc. and doing Testing & commissioning of utility systems.

Exposure in erection of the Supply & Exhaust Fans, Parking jet fans up to 100000 CFM & Sound attenuator Installation, round & rectangular ducts of the fans with proper supports considering various aspects like vibration, Weight etc. Co-ordinate the Testing & commissioning of the fans.

Experienced in Installation of AHU, FCU, HVAC Supply & Return ducts, Dampers & Connection of FCU, AHU with the ducts as per SMACNA, ASHRAE standards.

Coordinating Air Balancing for Air conditioning and ventilation system including FCU, AHU & Ventilation fans.

Working in Installation, Testing & Commissioning of various pipes like ERW, Seamless black steel, copper, PVC, CPVC pipes and relevant joints like, Grooved joints, solvent joints and welded joints.

Aware of Installing Chilled water pipes, its accessories like valves, Flexible joints, BTU meter etc., its supports work and conducting Testing & Commissioning of the system.

Exposure in installation of Chiller, FCU, AHU, Exhaust fans, Roof top units & Multi split air conditioners.

Responsible for Installation of Feeder cables, Panel boards, MCC panels, Electrical MDB's, Lighting panels, ATS & DDC Panels.

Working in Electrical Termination of Fire pumps & Fan motors. Conducting testing and commissioning of the system.

Coordinating the BMS works for both Electrical & Mechanical systems, Troubleshooting the problems.

Preparing the Project time schedule & Ensuring the timeliness in schedule and accomplished work.

Identifying areas of obstruction / Breakdown and taking steps to rectify the equipments through application of troubleshooting tools.

Ensuring that inspection request (RFI) are raised for the consultant and the client inspection and clearing the NCR’s raised by the consultants.

Conforming that approved method of statement is available to the foreman & charge hand, Follow up the works as per the same.

Co-Ordinate the employees at the site & supervise their safety, Submitting the safety audit like QHSE to the consultant.

Track record of targeting Zero Safety violation of team members in terms of PPE and other works carried out in site.

Handing over the Entire MEP system successfully to the Client with the necessary documents and clearing the snag comments.

Preparing the Final handing over documents such as QA/QC documents, Testing & commissioning reports, Warranty certificates & sequence of operation etc., and Get the TOC from Client.

Monitoring the sub-contractor work in terms of Quality & Clearing the sub contractors bills.

Coordinating and carrying out Scheduled maintenance (TBM) and Condition based maintenance (CBM) activities.

Experienced in Attending various consultant inspection & training programs for the more valuable customers like EMAAR & DAMAC Etc all over UAE.

POWER SECTOR:

Experienced as Mechanical Engineer in diversified projects of Bagasse based Travelling grate boilers & Coal based Circulating fluidized bed Boilers, piping equipment’s, pressure parts & non pressure parts.

Knowledge in installation of Pressure Vessels as per Pressure vessels as per ASME Sec.VIII Div.1 & IBR Regulation.

Installing suitable control valves, soot blowers, safety valves, flow nozzle, feed pump, FAN, ESP and equipments such as Blowdown tanks, de-aerator and HP/LP dosing systems. Selection of valves on the basics of API 602, ANSI B16.34 & Flange fittings on the basics of ANSI B16.5.
