FINAL YEAR PROJECT: QUALITY IMPROVEMENT OF COWL GRILL FIT AND FINISH USING SIX SIGMA PROCESS AT FORD PVT LTD
Wiper cowls are perhaps the most important parts in the car that cover the gap between the hood and the windshield. These panels prevent harmful elements like debris and moisture from entering the engine bay and damaging the wiper motor and also protect entering of rain water into engine bay. The main aim of the project is to improve the quality of the cowl grill in order reduce the grill pop’s and hard to fix issue using six sigma tools.

The object of the competition is to simulate real-world engineering design projects and their related challenges.
MINI PROJECT: FABRICATION AND TESTING OF AQUA SILENCER To conserve the earth’s environment from degradation and the public health from Air pollution it is very imperative that serious steps are to be taken for conserving them and Aqua silencer is an attempt to do so. Aqua silencer is mainly used for dealing with the emission and noise. An aqua silencer is generally attached to the exhaust of 2-stroke engine. In this Aqua silencer both the Lime water wash method and Absorption method are used. The gases like HC, CO from the engine exhaust are absorbed
