Hardware Implementation of TCSC at

Laboratory Level (07/2019 – Present)

The design of Thyristor Controlled Series Capacitor was done with the help of MATLAB Simulink and the same is being developed as a hardware. The TCSC module

operates at 230 Volts, 50 Hertz AC, by compensating the reactive power, engendering improved real power transfer across the power line.

High Gain DC-DC Converter with Active

Capacitor Networks (02/2019 – 04/2019)

The converter was specifically designed to step up a 20 volts DC to 260 volts DC. This converter operates on time ratio control and has a high gain, thus an optimal option as an interface for Photo-voltaic applications. This can be used as an interface between Photo-voltaic panel and DC appliances that operate at 260 V or as a stage converter for DC-AC conversions.

Smart Car Module (07/2018 – 11/2018)

With Aruduino and Raspberry pi controllers, the Battery Management System, Speed Control for Electric Vehicle and Smart Unlocking were engineered and these were integrated on to a single chassis.

Design and Development of DC-DC Buck

Converter (08/2018 – 11/2018)

Hardware of a Buck Converter was implemented for a power rating of 20 Watts. The Power Converter was

controlled using Time Ratio Control and the gate pulses were provided to the switch with the help of Arduino UNO.
